Account Deletion Policy

Effective Date: August 3, 2026 | Last Updated: August 3, 2026

1. Introduction

Campus Jadugar is a Smart Campus ERP Platform owned and operated by Infosolz Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. Infosolz, Company, we, our, or us.

This Account Deletion Policy explains how account deletion requests are handled for users of the Campus Jadugar platform and should be read together with the Campus Jadugar Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Campus Jadugar is designed exclusively for educational institutions. Educational institutions subscribe to the Services, and user accounts are created, managed, modified, suspended, or removed under the authority of the respective Institution.

Accordingly, this Policy explains the distinction between deleting an individual user account and deleting institutional data from the Campus Jadugar platform.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all Authorized Users of Campus Jadugar, including:

  • Institution Administrators
  • Faculty Members
  • Employees
  • Students
  • Parents or Guardians
  • Alumni
  • Placement Partners and Recruiters where applicable
  • Other users authorized by a subscribing Institution

This Policy applies to accounts used through:

  • Campus Jadugar Website
  • Web Applications
  • Android Application
  • iOS Application
  • Other official Campus Jadugar services

3. Account Ownership

Campus Jadugar accounts are provisioned by the subscribing Institution.

Individual users do not independently subscribe to Campus Jadugar or establish a direct customer relationship with the Company.

Each user account remains associated with the respective Institution and is managed according to that Institution's administrative policies, subscription, and access controls.

Accordingly, requests relating to account creation, modification, suspension, or deletion are ordinarily handled by the Institution Administrator.

4. Requesting Account Deletion

Authorized Users who wish to discontinue access to Campus Jadugar should first contact the administrator of their respective Institution.

The Institution may, at its discretion and in accordance with its internal policies, deactivate, suspend, or delete the user's access to the Services.

Where an Authorized User submits an account deletion request directly to the Company, the Company may verify the request and, where appropriate, refer it to the relevant Institution for review and authorization before taking any action.

The Company reserves the right to decline or defer a deletion request where doing so is necessary to comply with applicable laws, contractual obligations, institutional requirements, or legal proceedings.

5. What Happens When an Account is Deleted

Deletion or deactivation of an Authorized User's account generally results in the removal of the user's ability to access the Campus Jadugar platform.

Depending on the Institution's policies, subscribed modules, and applicable legal or regulatory requirements, certain institutional records associated with the user may continue to be retained by the Institution.

Examples may include:

  • Academic records
  • Examination results
  • Attendance history
  • Fee and financial records
  • Employment records
  • Leave history
  • Payroll records
  • Research records
  • Audit logs
  • System activity logs
  • Other institutional records required for academic, administrative, legal, or regulatory purposes

Deletion of an individual user account does not automatically remove or alter institutional records that form part of the Institution's official records.

6. Data Retention After Account Deletion

Following the deletion or deactivation of a user account, the Company may retain certain information where necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Fulfil contractual obligations with the Institution.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Services.
  • Maintain audit trails and security logs.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activities.
  • Resolve disputes or enforce legal rights.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery processes.

Such retained information shall only be used for the purposes described above and shall not be used for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

Customer Data belonging to the Institution shall continue to be retained, exported, or deleted in accordance with the applicable Commercial Agreement, Data Retention Policy, and the Institution's instructions.

7. Institution-Initiated Account Removal

The subscribing Institution may deactivate, suspend, or permanently remove an Authorized User's access at any time in accordance with its internal policies and administrative procedures.

Examples include:

  • Graduation or course completion
  • Employee resignation or retirement
  • Termination of employment
  • Transfer to another department or institution
  • Disciplinary action
  • Change of role or responsibilities
  • Administrative restructuring
  • Any other institution-approved reason

The Company acts upon instructions received from authorized representatives of the subscribing Institution.

8. Requests Submitted Directly to the Company

Where an Authorized User contacts the Company directly requesting deletion of an account, the Company may:

  • Verify the identity of the requester.
  • Confirm the Institution associated with the account.
  • Notify or refer the request to the Institution Administrator.
  • Request additional information where necessary.
  • Decline or defer the request where legal, contractual, or institutional obligations require the continued retention of information.

The Company reserves the right to process such requests only after appropriate verification and authorization have been completed.

9. Deletion of Institutional Accounts

Termination of an Institution's subscription does not automatically result in the immediate deletion of Customer Data.

Institutional data shall be retained, exported, archived, or securely deleted in accordance with:

  • The Commercial Agreement.
  • The Terms & Conditions.
  • The Privacy Policy.
  • Applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Written instructions agreed between the Company and the Institution.

Following completion of the applicable retention period, Customer Data may be permanently deleted from the Company's primary production systems, subject to legal or regulatory obligations requiring continued retention.
